NUMERO UNO. COMO
La maglia che vi proponiamo è stata chiamata “La numero uno”, perché da questa tutto è partito. E’ stata la prima idea, ma soprattutto è stata voluta come un doveroso omaggio alla nostra città, Como, dove TRII RAM è nata. Il capoluogo lariano è ben riconoscibile dal suo skyline, dal quale spicca il maestoso Duomo; il castello Baradello, posto a vedetta della città; Porta Torre, guardiano di pietra all’entrata principale della città murata; la Basilica romanica di Sant’Abbondio con i suoi due identici campanili; il tempio Voltiano, costruito in onore del più illustre cittadino comasco Alessandro Volta, padre della pila; l’imponente Monumento ai Caduti eretto con le pietre del Carso, ed infine la caratteristica funicolare in stile liberty che collega la città a Brunate.
La nostra è una città ricca di storia, da sempre considerata la regina del Lario, legata in modo indissolubile a questo specchio d’acqua che le ha permesso di diventare famosa in tutto il mondo e dal quale ha tratto la sua fortuna, fin dalla sua fondazione nel 59 a.C. per volere di Giulio Cesare. Ancora oggi pare che Como abbracci il suo lago, come a significarne l’amore tra lei e lui. Un amore eterno.
THE NUMBER ONE
The shirt we are proposing has been called “The number one”, because everything started from it. It was our first idea, but above all it was intended as a dutiful homage to our city, Como, where TRII RAM was born.
Our city is easily recognizable from its skyline, from which the majestic Duomo stands out; the Baradello castle, the lookout of the city; Porta Torre, stone guardian at the main entrance of the city center; the Romanesque Basilica of Sant’Abbondio with its two identical bell towers; the Volta temple, built in honor of the most illustrious Como citizen Alessandro Volta, creator of the battery; the imposing War Memorial erected with stones from the Karst, and finally the characteristic Liberty-style funicular that connects the city to Brunate.
Ours is a city rich in history, always considered the queen of the Lario, inextricably linked to this body of water that has allowed it to become famous all over the world and from which it has drawn its fortune, since its foundation in 59 B.C. at the behest of Julius Caesar. Even today it seems that Como embraces its lake, as if to signify the love between them. An eternal love.
